INGREDIENTS-
- 1 cup kidney beans{rajma}
- 1/4 teaspoon soda bicarbonate
- 2 medium onions chopped
- 6-8 garlic cloves
- 1 teaspoon ginger
- 4 tablespoon oil
- 2-4 green chillies
- 1 teaspoon chilli powder, 2 teaspoon coriander powder, 4 medium tomatoes, 1 teaspoon garam masala, corriander leaves chopped.
METHOD-
Soak the kidney beans overnight in water to which soda bicarbonate has been added. Drain and rinse in fresh water. And five cups of water to the beans and cook it in a pressure cooker till pressure is released four times.
Grind onions, garlic and ginger to a smooth paste. Heat oil in a kadai, Add the ground paste and green-red chillies and saute till pale gold. Add all powders and salt in it saute for 2 min.
Stir in the tomato puree and saute till the oil separate. At last put kidney beans in it boil it for 10 min.
Stir coriander leaves and serve it.
